By and large, it was nice base for sightseeing in Franschhoek, had much fun and met excellent and amicable staff from the receptionist talking. The location turned out to be beautiful and fantastic, next to beautiful wine yards and mountains, magnificent views over Franschoek, and the valley. It also was to the Wine farm.
Can’t think of anything!

The rooms were beautiful and spacious, with elegant decor and comfortable beds. the attention to detail in the design and amenities was impressive, such as the coffee machine and fresh milk provided in the room. the location of the hotel was perfect, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. I also appreciated the complimentary laundry service, a great bonus.
The breakfast was quite disappointing and we had to look for other options after the first meal. the lack of staff assistance with carrying heavy bags up the steep stairs was a letdown.

The stunning views from Maison Montagne made our stay truly unforgettable. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful room, especially the cozy seating area outside. The drinks by the pool were a delightful touch. Despite a few cobwebs and spiders in the ceilings, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast, although a bit basic compared to other hotels in the area, was still tasty. I would highly recommend Maison Montagne for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at Maison Montagne in Franschhoek. The spacious and comfortable rooms were beautifully decorated with a simple yet elegant Cape farmhouse quality. I particularly loved the attention to detail in the Peony room, where I could wake up and admire the breathtaking views from the bed. The staff were extremely sweet and accommodating, offering complimentary laundry service, which was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, having a coffee machine and fresh milk in the room was a nice touch for a refreshing morning start. The newly renovated bathrooms were also great, adding to the overall experience. The whole area surrounding the hotel was simply stunning.
While my stay was enjoyable, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. the breakfast could have been better as the staff didn't ask for specific preferences such as how I wanted my eggs done or which type of bread I preferred.

The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. the vegan breakfast provided was delicious. the location of the hotel was convenient for exploring the nearby wine tram station. the presence of a generator ensured that there were no disruptions due to load shedding.
The proximity of the rooms to the reception area made for a noisy experience, with disturbances during the night. Privacy was also limited due to the location.

The view from our balcony was breathtaking and worth every penny. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The breakfast was top-notch with plenty of options for our different preferences. The location was great, within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
The walls were thin and we could hear everything from the hallways and other rooms. The wind was quite extreme during our stay, but luckily the staff provided us with extra blankets to keep warm.

We had an unforgettable stay at this luxurious hotel. the exclusive amenities and personalized service made us feel like royalty. the outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and stunning views was the perfect place to relax. the spacious rooms with their exquisite interior design and exclusive in-room breakfast made us feel pampered. the private garden area and BBQ facilities were a great bonus. the location, away from the hustle of town, provided peaceful and quiet nights.
The only minor issue we encountered was the limited options at the poolside snack bar. But this was a minor inconvenience compared to the exceptional experience we had overall.
